ADS – UK Aerospace, Defence, Security and Space organisation
ADS is the premier trade organisation for the UK’s aerospace, defence, security, and space industries. The association represents over 1,200 companies across the UK, including small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and large multinational corporations. ADS works in collaboration with the UK MoD, the Home Office, the FCDO, DIT, UK Defence and Security Exports and the Security Services, helping member companies to grow and export.
Exensor has had a long-standing association with ADS for more than a decade, and is part of the following working groups:
- Aerospace Export Focus Group
- Covert Technology Suppliers Forum
- Export Group for Aerospace Defence & Dual-Use
- Security Export Focus Group
ADS provides specialist support for Export controls such as ITAR and UK Export compliance, as well as enabling Exensor to network with suppliers and partners within the UK Aerospace and Defence Industry. The company also attends events sponsored or hosted by ADS with customers and exhibitions for trade shows/forums, and direct “fireside chats” with key UK or international customers.
In addition, ADS works closely with its counterparts in other countries, as well as with international organisations such as NATO and the EDA, to support the development of joint capabilities.
RUSI – Royal United Services Institute
The RUSI Is the world’s oldest and the UK’s Leading Defence and Security think tank. Their mission is to inform, influence and enhance public debate to help build a safer and more stable world.
Exensor has now been a proud member of the RUSI for the past 5 years, which offers opportunities for the company to network with the highest levels of the Defence sector in the UK and provides insights into the strategic thinking of Defence on a global scale with the interest of the UK security at its heart.
